Chocolate Hummus

Ingredients
- 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup raw honey
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp nut butter of choice (we use almond)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 handful cacao nibs, for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients except the apple in a food processor. Blend until smooth, up to 5 minutes. Add milk or hot water, if needed, to thin.
- Move to a bowl and top with cacao nibs, if desired. Serve with seedy crackers, sliced apples, strawberries, or other fruit as desired.
